LIHEAP Expansion and Energy Education

This is an addition to the current LIHEAP program. The first component of this addition is energy assistance, which would assist needy District residents in paying their energy bills, affording them the opportunity to maintain their energy services. The second component of this program would educate residents about other energy efficiency programs. The combination of these efforts will help to keep DC residents' energy bills manageable, while creating an energy efficient household, further reducing energy consumption and energy bills.
