The Low Income Appliance Program (LIAP) operates through the WAP Plus program. Energy efficient replacement refrigerators and air conditioners will be given to qualified families. The air conditioners will only be given to qualified seniors, at least 60 years of age who have a doctor's certificate for their chronically ill condition. Approximately 200 air conditioners will be distributed annually.
