Weatherization Rehabilitation

Non-profit community-based organizations (CBOs) and community development corporations (CDCs) will provide improvements to the homes of low-income District residents. This will include the addition of energy efficient components to the home improvement efforts of these selected organizations. The CBOs who perform the actual work will identify, purchase and install appropriate energy efficiency measures in the homes they rehabilitate or repair. Up to $2,675 per unit will be available and approximately 318 homes will be weatherized under this program.
