The Energy Loan Promotion Program promotes energy efficiency loans for energy upgrades to existing homes. The program includes Fannie Mae Energy Efficiency Loans for existing home energy efficiency upgrades. This program works in partnership with Home Energy Ratings System (HERS) program auditors, certified home improvement contractors, home improvement materials suppliers and participating banks. The program will increase the opportunities for home ownership and help community development.
