Energy Efficiency Evaluation Program

The Energy Efficiency Evaluation Program exists to train parents and students to reduce energy waste in their homes and illustrate a significant change in their energy bills at the end of the program. Parents agree to have their usage monitored and also provide their energy bills for review by the District Department of the Environment. The parents and students are trained in workshops to take easy, inexpensive, do-it-yourself measures to reduce the usage in the home. If a difference is made, the students are rewarded at the end of the program.
