Our Aquatic Resources Education Center (AREC) located in Anacostia Park has a variety of live exhibits of fish and other aquatic species from our local rivers and surrounding environment. Groups are encouraged to scheduled visits, but walk-in visitors are always welcome. Scheduled visitors can be given a structured presentation, in one of two of our classrooms, on a particular subject matter related to our local aquatic and wildlife resources.
