The District Department of the Environment helps residents, businesses and visitors save money on their energy bills and reduce their impact on the environment as a result.

DDOE's Energy Office supports all residential, commercial, governmental, institutional and transportation energy users and provides financial assistance to low-income customers. The office also teaches residents, students and businesses how to make energy-effiicient decisions.
