Wildlife Conservation Activities of Other Agencies and Organizations
Data regarding wildlife deaths due to pesticides is very important to the goal of wildlife conservation. The American Bird Conservancy (ABC), an NGO that provides a network of bird conservation organizations across the Americas, has launched a pesticides and birds campaign to reduce the exposure of wild birds to hazardous pesticides. It offers two invaluable databases: Avian Incident Monitoring System and Birds in Agricultural Areas Database. Visit their website to find out more about the program or what you can do to help.
