Green Living Expo
On Thursday, September 11th look for the DDOE exhibit and information table at the Green Living Expo DC. The event takes place from 12:00pm - 8:00pm at University of the District of Columbia’s Dennard Plaza, 4200 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20008. Nearly 50 exhibitors will be on hand to help attendees discover why D.C. is becoming the model of a sustainable city. Green businesses, energy-saving devices, green roofs, locally grown food, urban forests, urban biking, and green infrastructure are a few of the topics and services that will be featured. Visitors can consult environmental experts; enjoy demonstrations, live music and local food. The event also includes panel discussions, presentations and an eco-bike tour around the Van Ness campus and surrounding communities.
