Mayor Vincent C. Gray is committed to making the District of Columbia an Age-Friendly City with an inclusive and accessible urban environment that encourages active and healthy living. This year’s theme, “Safe Today. Healthy Tomorrow,” directly speaks to the enormous strides the District of Columbia is making to become an Age-Friendly City where everyone can age in place with a system that supports them as they grow older. This event is hosted by the District of Columbia Office on Aging. Seniors, family members, caregivers, providers, advocates, and community stakeholders will attend.
