Green Zone Programs

The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) has a series of multi-faceted initiatives designed to train and prepare individuals to become leaders in the field of environmental sustainability.  DDOE’s Green Zone Environmental Program (GZEP) and internship program both provide education, hands-on training, and direct work experience for various levels of students and continuing education professionals, all of whom seek to make a positive impact on the environment.  Opportunities are available across a range of sectors, to include Environmental Protection, Enforcement, Natural Resources, Policy and Sustainability, and more.
