The purpose of this project, funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, was to update the District’s Water Pollution Control Contingency Plan to incorporate changes in organizational structures, laws, and regulations, and programmatic needs. The Plan includes specific notification and response strategies for major and minor spills/releases and effective containment/cleanup methods.
